Getting here from Schiphol (Amsterdam airport):

The train is the most convenient link between Schiphol and Delft. There is a major train station at the airport. An Intercity train departs (usually from track (spoor) 5 or 6) in our direction every 20 minutes. There is typically a connection to make at The Hague HS (Den Haag HS) or in Leiden Centraal, where you hop onto a Sneltrein or Stoptrein. The total trajectory is ~40 minutes. If you are a newcomer to the Netherlands, we recommend that you buy the ~11 Euro ticket at the booth (rather than at the machine), so that the clerk can print out the itinerary for you, specifying all track numbers and connection times. If you are into planning beforehand, you can see all train itineraries at 9292ov.nl.

Once in Delft station, you have many options to get to TUD. One is to walk (~15 minutes). The map below indicates the path from the train station (A) to our lab (B). If you want to experience Delft as a local, we highly recommend that you rent a bike at the train station (or ask Leo beforehand, he has a few extra ones). Alternatively, you can catch a cab (call +31(0)15 219 1919). The metered fare will be ~10 Euro.
